“The Big Will” is an annual Girls v Boys Lacrosse event in memory of our beloved friend and coach, Will Robinson. The event took place at Scituate High School on Monday, May 18th and celebrated the spirit of Will Robinson and his support of both the girls and boys lacrosse programs throughout Scituate, MA and beyond. Will didn’t just love the game of lacrosse, he embodied everything we teach to our children in sports. He was humble, steadfast and an honest competitor.

The 1st Girls v Boys lacrosse game took place in 2024 and Will loved every minute of the game as a spectator. At The Big Will, boys and girls switch lax sticks play by girl’s lacrosse rules. And, the competition is fierce.

More than $25,000 was raised at The Big Will and 100% of all proceeds will benefit the SYL Scholarship Fund and support former SYL girls and boys lacrosse players in their pursuit of higher education.
